Help with choosing a smartphone from Verizon?

I am currently looking into getting a smartphone with Verizon and many options for its new line from smartphone of choice becomes difficult. I have reduced my options to Imagio HTC, Motorola droid. Eris HTC, and Palm Pre plus. I'm looking for a phone with a number of applications and a major Internet browser. I wish I had a phone on the network because Android applications and number of applications that are free, but I know very little about the store that has windows applications for the IMAGIO. My current choice is the IMAGIO but I would have an opinion to help me make my decision. Thank you all.

I have the bike today .. his droid a good phone .. sometimes it will freeze on you and you have to restart the it's annoying. and applications arent really useful .. there are tons to choose from, but nothing that is great.
